Role DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and technically capable Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams and oversee the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable technical solutions. The role involves guiding engineering initiatives, coordinating technical priorities, supporting team development, and ensuring projects are delivered in alignment with business and product objectives.Key responsibilities include defining technical priorities, coordinating development activities, reviewing architecture and engineering solutions, monitoring project progress, and ensuring adherence to development standards. The role also involves mentoring engineers, facilitating collaboration across engineering and product teams, supporting hiring and team development initiatives, identifying technical risks, and driving continuous improvements in engineering processes, quality, and performance.The successful candidate will balance technical leadership with people management, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and help establish a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and engineering excellence.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system architecture, development methodologies, and technical project management.Proficiency in one or more programming languages and familiarity with modern software development technologies.Knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, APIs, CI/CD, testing, security, and scalable system design.Strong understanding of Agile development practices and engineering lifecycle management.Excellent leadership, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to evaluate technical solutions, manage priorities, and identify engineering risks.Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and cross-functional initiatives.Ability to build collaborative, high-performing engineering teams and promote continuous improvement.Strategic mindset with a strong focus on technical quality, reliability, scalability, and business outcomes.
