About the role
East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator and a Senior Project Officer to join our Facilities Projects & Minor Works team and help deliver a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, engineering and capital works projects. These roles provide an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that support the delivery of healthcare services across our facilities. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate sound project management capability, strong stakeholder engagement skills, technical expertise, and a proven ability to deliver project outcomes in complex operational environments.
Senior Project Coordinator we are seeking an experienced project professional with a demonstrated background in infrastructure, building or engineering projects. You will coordinate the planning, development and delivery of minor works and infrastructure projects, managing project scope, schedules, budgets and stakeholder engagement to achieve successful outcomes.
Senior Project Officer we are seeking a project professional with demonstrated experience in capital works and infrastructure project delivery, supported by a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. While bringing strong electrical engineering expertise, the successful applicant will be adaptable and capable of leading and supporting a broad range of multidisciplinary infrastructure and redevelopment projects.
These are Fixed-Term Full-Time appointments (76 hours per fortnight) for 12 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. Appointments will be made with the possibility of permanency.
We have one position for the Senior Project Coordinator and one position for the Senior Project Officer.

The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 828,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.
Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.
The EMHS consists of Royal Perth Hospital; Mt Lawley Hospital; Armadale Health Service; Bentley Health Service; Kalamunda Hospital; St John of God Midland Public Hospital and a range of community and population health services.

these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from
