Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining efficient store operations. They help lead and motivate the team while ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.

• Support the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Supervise, train, coach, and motivate team members.

• Assist with staff scheduling and workload allocation.

• Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and conduct stock counts.

• Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually merchandised according to company standards.

• Handle cash management, including opening and closing procedures, banking, and reconciliation.

• Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.

• Prepare reports and communicate store performance to the Store Manager.

• Act as the Store Manager in their absence.
