About the Role 

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused People and Culture Business Partner to join our team in Perth. Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, this role partners with leaders across the regions (Pilbara Kimberley, Midwest, Corporate) to provide expert human resources support, build management capability, and drive positive workforce outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities Include 

• Build leadership capability through coaching and guidance on people management, performance management, and employee engagement. 
• Partner with leaders to develop workforce strategies that align with organisational goals and future workforce needs. 
• Promote culturally secure, inclusive, and trauma-informed people practices across the organisation. 
• Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. 
• Provide high-quality ER and IR advice, including support with grievances, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters. 
• Collaborate with recruitment teams to support attraction, retention, and workforce planning strategies. 
• Identify workforce capability gaps and support learning and development initiatives across the organisation. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support organisational effectiveness. 
• Support HR reporting, workforce analytics, compliance monitoring, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Partner with Workplace Health and Safety teams to promote psychologically and physically safe workplaces. 
• Support organisational change, restructuring, and workforce transformation initiatives.

You’ll Need 

Essential 

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline. 
• Demonstrated experience in a People and Culture, Human Resources, or Business Partnering role. 
• Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices, policies, and employment legislation. 
• Experience providing employee and industrial relations advice and support. 
• Strong capability in performance management, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching leaders. 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation, and relationship-building skills. 
• Ability to analyse workforce data and provide practical recommendations to leaders. 
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, cultural safety, and trauma-informed practice. 
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams. 

Desirable 

• Experience working within the community services, not-for-profit, health, or human services sector. 
• Extensive experience in a People and Culture Business Partner or other senior HR role. 
• Experience supporting organisational change and workforce transformation initiatives. 

Pre-employment Requirements 

• Current Driver’s Licence (C or A Class) 
• National Police Clearance (within 3 months) 
• Working with Children Check 
• Department of Justice Clearance
