Associate - Strategic Asset Management
Advisory | Strategic Asset Management
Brisbane
The Opportunity
At WSP, we partner with our clients to improve the performance, sustainability and long-term value of their assets. Our Strategic Asset Management team delivers trusted advisory services across transport, energy, mining, water, facilities and social infrastructure, working nationally and internationally as an integrated practice.
We are seeking an Associate to join our growing Strategic Asset Management team in Brisbane. This role would suit an experienced consultant or asset management professional who is ready to take the next step in their advisory career, contributing to the delivery of strategic asset management projects while continuing to build their client-facing, project delivery and technical capability.
You will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to understand asset management challenges, support strategic decision-making and deliver practical, value-driven outcomes. You will also contribute to proposals, support client conversations and collaborate with senior team members to help grow our asset management capability across Queensland and nationally.
What you'll do
Support and manage the delivery of strategic asset management and advisory projects across a range of infrastructure sectors, including discrete workstreams within larger engagements.
Develop practical advice and recommendations for operational, technical and senior stakeholders.
Coordinate project delivery activities, including scope, budget, quality and client expectations, with support from senior team members where required.
Develop client relationships through project delivery, stakeholder engagement and support for future opportunities.
Contribute to proposals, bids and business development activities as part of a broader team.
Support junior team members through day-to-day collaboration, review and knowledge sharing.
What we'll love about you
You are an asset management, infrastructure advisory or maintenance professional with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You may already be working in consulting, or looking to move from an asset-intensive organisation into a more advisory-focused role. You are comfortable contributing to project delivery, engaging with clients and developing practical recommendations that improve asset performance and decision-making.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Around 10 years' experience in strategic asset management, asset maintenance, infrastructure advisory, asset investment planning or a related field.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to clear, practical recommendations.
Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to client development and future project opportunities.
What we'll offer you
WSP offers a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing environment where you can make a genuine impact while continuing to grow your career.
You'll benefit from:
