Workshop Administrator (Part time/school hours)

About the role

As our Workshop Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping our busy workshop running smoothly. This position combines administration, customer service, and workshop support duties, including assisting with parts enquiries and coordinating day-to-day workshop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Front Counter and Answering phones

• Liaising with suppliers, customers and other Diesel Care Branches

• Booking jobs, managing job cards and workshop documentation

• Preparing invoices and processing paperwork

• Ordering and sourcing parts for workshop jobs

• General administration and data entry

• Assisting with stock and inventory control

• Supporting the workshop and warehouse team with daily operations

About you

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Good computer skills and attention to detail

• Customer service experience

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Mechanical or automotive knowledge is an advantage but not essential

• Experience in administration, parts interpreting, or a workshop environment would be highly regarded
