Pole Installer / Crane Truck Operator

Our client is a Sydney-based accredited Level 2 Service Provider with over 15 years of experience delivering network-side electrical services. Authorised with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy, they provide power connections, metering, private power poles, underground and overhead services, and defect repairs across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Known for reliable service, safety and compliance, they service customers throughout Sydney and surrounding areas.

The primary purpose of this position is to install poles across metro and regional NSW while operating trucks and machinery and supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the yard, warehouse and equipment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Operating crane trucks and borers safely across various job sites
• Drilling holes and installing poles for electrical service projects
• Driving trucks to job sites throughout metro and regional NSW
• Loading and unloading poles, materials, equipment and stock
• Sorting, organising and maintaining stock within the yard and warehouse
• Completing basic checks and general maintenance of trucks and equipment
• Undertaking manual tasks, including digging and using a shovel when required
• Assisting with general hands-on duties across the business when needed

The successful candidate will have:

• Required truck and crane licences for the duties of the role
• Previous experience operating trucks, machinery or similar equipment
• Physical fitness and ability to undertake hands-on manual work
• Willingness and availability to travel to regional NSW as required
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks
• Experience with crane trucks, borers, civil works, forklifts or warehousing will be highly regarded
