Team Leader

An exciting opportunity exists to join Victim Assist Queensland as a temporary Team Leader within the Financial Assistance Unit based in South Brisbane. 

The Team Leader will be appointed by the chief executive as a Government assessor under the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009 (Section 128). This position reports to the Executive Manager, Financial Assistance and will: 

·       Perform functions as required under the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009. 

·       Lead a multidisciplinary client focused team in an evidence-based decision making and results driven environment. 

·       Drive motivation and innovation in team members. 

·       Manage processes and resources to ensure the timely assessment of applications for financial assistance in line with legislative intent.

Ø Fixed term temporary full-time 

Ø $133,603 to $143,125 per annum
