Dispensary Technician - Aged Care

Chempro Chemists has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a full time dispensary technician to work within our dedicated Aged Care team. This position offers the chance to work in a rapidly expanding industry with the use of the latest technologies in pharmacy services. 

Located in Bundall, but servicing Nursing Homes across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Northern NSW, the ideal candidate will assist our pharmacists in servicing multiple nursing homes. Come join us and become an integral part of our team ensuring the accurate delivery of medication supply to aged care patients. 

On the job training will be provided. You will have the opportunity to become intimately experienced with some of the newest technologies and procedures in the industry.

The position will involve:

* Liaising with pharmacists and the team to maintain Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) requirements

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:

* High level of organisation and ability to see tasks through to final outcome 

* Excellent and diplomatic communication skills 

* The ability to integrate into a busy team environment 

* Adaptability to multiple positions and undertakings

* The desire to learn and assimilate to new processes and a dynamic workplace

Requirements:

• Dispensary Technician Qualification 

• Experience with FRED preferred but not essential

• Aged Care experience is preferable but not essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Established computer proficiency

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

• At least 1 year experience as a dispensary technician
