Reporting to the Head of Market Insights and Sustainability, this senior role supports the performance and integrity of CBH's Marketing and Trading operations through compliance monitoring, reporting, audit support, governance and control improvement.

Working within CBH's Marketing and Trading function, you'll help ensure effective controls, governance and compliance across key commercial activities. Responsibilities include reporting, reconciliations, approvals, audit preparation, process reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and manage risk.

With a major CTRM project underway, this role will help shape the future of compliance through enhanced systems, data visibility and control monitoring. It offers an excellent opportunity for a compliance, risk or audit professional looking to influence governance outcomes in a complex commercial environment.

• Monitor compliance obligations and ensure issues are identified, escalated and resolved appropriately.

• Lead the annual Marketing & Trading compliance and audit program, including internal and external audits.

• Deliver compliance monitoring, reporting, reconciliations and regulatory reporting activities while maintaining audit evidence, procedures and compliance records.

• Identify control gaps and partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk management, compliance awareness and control ownership.

• Drive continuous improvement through data, analytics and technology to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

• Support the evolution of the Marketing & Trading compliance, risk and governance framework, including the CTRM program and broader business transformation initiatives.

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Audit, Mathematics, Science, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in governance, compliance, audit, or similar disciplines, with a proven track record of leading and delivering process improvement initiatives at a senior level

• Strong capability in identifying business risks and implementing effective controls and mitigation strategies.

• Experience developing and delivering change management initiatives.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, negotiate, and provide guidance across all levels of the business.

• Previous experience in export commodity supply chain and trading environments (desired)
