About The Role
Multiworks Australia is seeking an experienced Plant & Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in Brooklyn, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to play a key role in ensuring our yards, plant and logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with the Assets & Logistics Manager, you will coordinate plant deployment, maintenance scheduling, utilisation reporting, asset records and logistics activities to ensure projects have the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time. You will also provide critical support across yard operations, including managing urgent plant and breakdown issues when required.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate plant and equipment deployment across project sitesMaintain accurate asset registers, plant records and administration systemsTrack plant utilisation, job costing and cost allocations in collaboration with FinanceManage purchase order compliance and support accurate financial reportingCoordinate maintenance schedules and ensure servicing compliance requirements are metRespond to plant breakdowns and urgent logistics issues, escalating where requiredSupport day-to-day yard operations and provide coverage when the Assets & Logistics Manager is unavailableBuild and maintain strong relationships with project teams, suppliers, transport providers and equipment hire partnersIdentify and implement process and systems improvements across plant and logistics operationsCoordinate the annual asset auction process and asset disposal activitiesMonitor equipment movements and ensure assets are correctly allocated to projectsMaintain compliance with company policies, procedures and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience in the plant, construction, logistics or infrastructure industryMinimum 3 years' administration and coordination experienceStrong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detailExperience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environmentStrong stakeholder management skills and ability to build positive working relationshipsProactive, self-motivated and capable of working independentlyComfortable managing competing demands and responding to urgent operational issuesStrong systems and IT skills, with 3-5 years' experience working across digital platforms and business systemsDemonstrated ability to coordinate plant, equipment or logistics operationsPositive, solutions-focused attitude with a commitment to teamworkAbility to work effectively across operational, project and finance teamsCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceAbility to travel between the yard and project sites as requiredComfortable working in an outdoor yard environment and undertaking occasional manual handling tasksExperience with Workbench, Upvise or similar asset management systems is advantageousDemonstrated alignment to Multiworks' values of Craft, Care, Courage and Credibility
