Your Opportunity Note: This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with an outlook to permanent.
The Tester will be responsible for supporting and coordinating/leading the delivery of business transformation projects as part of the Enterprise PMO Delivery Portfolio. As a member of the ICT team, you will contribute to testing activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that solutions meet quality expectations and are delivered within scope and schedule. The Tester will execute testing across all EPMO-led delivery initiatives.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Test Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications by supporting both manual and automated testing activities across the software development lifecycle.Execute test cases across Front-End and Back-End applications in Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to support timely resolution.Support test automation initiatives using tools such as Postman (API Testing) and Cypress (Front-End Testing).Review business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality outcomes.Assist with test planning, preparation of test data, and maintenance of testing documentation.Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to clarify requirements and deliver quality solutions.Participate in defect triage sessions and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and best practices.Stay current with emerging testing methodologies, technologies, and industry trends.
About YouExperience (recent 5+ years) in software testing or quality assurance rolesHands on experience with automated testing tools (Postman, Cypress with Cucumber/Gherkin)Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with test management and defect tracking toolsISTQB certification or similar is desirableAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools, especially within the Atlassian suite.
