Nursery assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Nursery Assistant to join our team.

Position Details:

• 38 hours per week (flexible for the right person)

• Monday - Friday.

• 7:00am to 2:30pm approximately (flexible for the right person)

Requirements:

• Cert 3 in Horticulture / Diploma in Horticulture

• Current drivers license

• White card

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Duties:

• Weeding and leaf clearing

• Carrying and handling pots

• Potting up plants

• Delivery of plants

• Mixing growing media

• Spraying (as required)

• Formative pruning

• Washing pots and maintaining workstations

PPE Requirements:

• Long pants

• Long sleeve shirt

• Hat

• Sunscreen

• Steel cap boots (no shoes!)

• Gloves
