Location: Prema House Medical Centre East Lismore
Employment Type: Casual (2 to 5 days)
Hours: 8.00am to 5.30pm including Holidays (a must)

We are looking for a friendly, professional and reliable Casual Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming medical practice.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in providing a warm and professional experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service

• Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries

• Booking and managing appointments

• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records

• Liaising with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals

• Managing general reception and administrative duties

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy

About You

We are seeking someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and professional

• Reliable, organised and able to work independently

• Confident communicating with patients and healthcare professionals

• Comfortable using computers and medical practice software

• Able to multitask in a busy environment

• Previous medical reception experience is highly desirable, but training may be provided for the right candidate
