About the Role

At Whiz Kidz Early Learning Centre & Preschool – Sydenham, we are looking for 2 confident, passionate and caring ECTs to join our established team and lead our 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kinder rooms.

With up to 22 children per day, these are fantastic opportunities for ECTs who enjoy creating engaging learning environments, building strong relationships with children and families, and working alongside a supportive team.

You’ll have the support of an experienced leadership team while having the autonomy to shape your room, guide your educators and deliver a meaningful preschool program that supports children to develop the skills and confidence they need for school and beyond.

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating roster between 7:00am and 6:30pm.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and deliver a high-quality preschool program aligned with the EYLF and NSW Start Strong Preschool program

• Create an engaging environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and develop

• Lead the day-to-day flow of a busy and vibrant Kinder room

• Support and mentor educators within your room

• Embed intentional teaching, school readiness and play-based learning

• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and your team

• Maintain high-quality documentation and reflective practice

• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to continually improve outcomes for children

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)

• Experience working within a preschool or kindergarten program

• Confidence leading a room and supporting a team of educators

• A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork

• The ability to balance structure, learning and play in a busy environment

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A genuine passion for early childhood education and school readiness

• Current WWCC, Child Protection, National Foundations Child Safety (Gecko), First Aid and Anaphylaxis certificates
