About the Role

As a Trainee, you will:

• Provide support and companionship to clients who live independently but need occasional assistance at home

• Help with light daily tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, tidying, and grocery shopping

• Assist with transport to appointments, errands, or community activities to help clients stay socially connected and active

• Offer friendly conversation and emotional support, building trusting relationships that enhance clients’ wellbeing

• Work under the guidance of experienced mentors and a supportive team

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence & vehicle insurance

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

• Police clearance (or willing to obtain)

• Australian permanent residency

• A genuine passion for caring and supporting others

• Previous experience working with people (formal or informal) is highly regarded

• Reliable, patient, and eager to learn
