What your day could look like

As a Social Worker, you'll help people navigate life's challenges during some of their most important healthcare experiences. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll combine clinical expertise with genuine human connection, helping patients and families feel supported, informed and empowered while contributing to healthier communities across the Darling Downs.

• Qualification in Social Work with eligibility for professional membership and a current driver's licence.
• Experience delivering high-quality social work services and applying sound professional judgement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills within multidisciplinary settings.
• Commitment to continuous learning, improvement and evidence-informed practice.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting student learning, mentoring others and/or additional clinical training that broadens your practice.
