CABINET MAKER / KITCHEN INSTALLER

Jacaranda Kitchens, based in Clontarf on the Redcliffe Peninsula, is a well-established custom kitchen and joinery business with over 25 years of industry experience. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Cabinetmaker / Kitchen Installer to join our supportive and down to earth team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and has solid experience across all aspects of custom made kitchens and joinery. We offer a supportive team environment, consistent workflow, and the opportunity to work on high-quality projects.

• Trade certificate or equivalent formal training in Cabinetmaking

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified Cabinetmaker and/or Installer

• Experience and knowledge in custom joinery manufacturing

• Carry out cabinetmaking and installation duties both in the factory and on-site

• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings

• Knowledge of cabinetry hardware and materials, with the ability to cut, build and assemble custom cabinetry

• Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as unsupervised when required

• Motivated, reliable and able to follow instructions

• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong commitment to workplace and on-site safety

• Current White Card

• Current manual driver’s licence

• Own professional-grade tools required

• Excellent work ethic and reliability essential

• Experience with CabMaster or Microvellum would be an advantage, but is not essential

• Solid surface experience will be highly regarded but not essential
