Contract Administrator

The Lorian Group is currently partnering with a growing construction business on the north side of Brisbane to appoint a Senior Contract Administrator to join their team.

This is an opportunity to work across a strong portfolio of hospitality and education projects, with the majority of work being fitout and refurbishment. There will also be exposure to the occasional new-build project, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience across different delivery environments.

The Role You’ll take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of projects valued up to $40M, working closely with the Project Manager, site team, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Projects are located across Queensland and Northern NSW, with a strong focus on hospitality and education. A number of projects are delivered within live environments, so the ability to manage stakeholders, minimise disruption and maintain strong communication throughout the build is important.
You’ll be supported by an established CA team, while still having the autonomy and responsibility expected of a Senior CA.

We're looking for a Senior Contract Administrator who is confident managing the commercial side of complex construction projects and enjoys being involved throughout the full project lifecycle.

You will ideally have:

• Strong experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
• A background in fitout and refurbishment
• Bachelor degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying 
• Experience across projects up to $40M
• Hospitality, education or other complex commercial experience
• Experience working in live environments is highly regarded
• Strong subcontractor management and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using Procore Pro or Jonas Premier
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
