Internal Account Manager

About the role

A commercially driven Internal Account Manager role focused on proactive sales, business development, and opportunity generation. Working closely with field-based Territory Managers, you will actively engage with a portfolio of dental practices to build relationships with key decision-makers, uncover upcoming equipment needs, identify new business opportunities, and generate a strong pipeline of qualified leads for Territory Managers and dealer network. This is a hunter-style sales role suited to someone who enjoys picking up the phone, starting conversations, asking the right questions, and turning opportunities into results.

Key responsibilities

• Actively engage with a portfolio of dental practices to build relationships with key decision-makers

• Uncover upcoming equipment needs and identify new business opportunities

• Generate a strong pipeline of qualified leads for Territory Managers and dealer network

• Proactively engage in outbound business development and lead generation

• Manage telephone-based account management activities

About you

• Proven track record in inside sales, outbound business development, lead generation or telephone-based account management

• Strong commercial mindset, persistence, and a genuine drive to achieve sales

• Excellent listening skills; you take time to understand what a customer is asking for

• Confident phone manner, clear and professional in communication

• Ability to quickly make sense of complex information and act on it

• Self-motivated you get a buzz out of hitting your targets

• You build rapport quickly and enjoy connecting with new people

• You're comfortable managing tricky conversations and holding your ground without being pushy

• Resilient; you bounce back quickly from setbacks

• Able to stay level-headed and manage multiple priorities under pressure

• Tertiary qualification in a related field is well regarded
