Metal Light Fabrication (Bespoke Playground Equipment)

AUSPLAY playscapes are a progressive, highly respected playground manufacturing company located in Richlands. We Design, fabricate, Construct and install a range of commercial playground structures and playscape equipment. 

Our metal fabrication department requires metal fabrication team members including sheet metal and light steel fabricators. Ideal candidates for this role are trade qualified and have experience in a range of metal fabrication including sheet metal fabrication but not essential. 

The day-to-day duties of this role include:

      • Reading and understanding shop drawings.

      • Cutting, grinding and bending pipes and extrusions. 

      • Tig and Mig welding both aluminium & steel sheet, and extrusions.

      • Playground aluminium and steel fabrication.

We seek candidates with the following skills and experience:

      • Manual driver's license (for transport to work)

      • Sheet metal or Fab trade qualified & proven experience

      • Must have Aluminium tig welding experience

      • Well developed communication skills

      • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
