About the role
The Opportunity
The Student Wellbeing and Careers Officer provides a student support and counselling service to TAFE SA students and provides a consultancy service to teaching staff. The SWACO is responsible for the provision of career/course advisory services to prospective and existing students, as well as student support in the areas of wellbeing, financial information, crisis, conflicts and complaints, personal stresses, and the provision and evaluation of appropriate support to students experiencing a disability. The incumbent exercises initiative and judgement and will work collaboratively with others in meeting TAFESA strategic objectives.

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
