Allied Health/Medical Receptionist - Casual

The Headache, Neck & Jaw Clinic is a premium physiotherapy practice with a focus on treating patients with specific conditions. We are searching for additional outstanding Allied Health or Medical Receptionists specifically to join our Southport team!

The successful candidates will share responsibility for the day to day management of our reception desk, as well as the completion of a variety of administration tasks. You will work in a supportive and friendly environment, with dedicated Physiotherapists and Administration Staff, who create quality service and a great team ethic.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in an allied health or medical front desk role

• Previous customer service experience

• Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Private Health Fund Claims through HICAPS along with the Tyro Online payment system

• Advanced computer skills

• Ability to be flexible with working hours and locations (covering staff on leave)

• Ability to work as an enthusiastic team member, to use initiative and multitask

• Proven ability to work within a team and also to work independently

• Excellent telephone manner

• Positive attitude and passionate about delivering a high level of customer service

• Warm and friendly personality

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining clinic diaries (Cliniko software training provided)

• Welcoming patients and recording patient details

• Processing patient invoices, including DVA, Work Cover & CTP

• Maintaining stationery and clinic supply stocks

• Maintaining clinic and reception areas

• Performing other administration tasks as directed

• Telephone duties

Our operating hours vary between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, we don't open on weekends.
