Cook / Chef Wanted – The Beaches Hotel/ Ryans Hotel, Thirroul

Two pubs in Thirroul with three great dining experiences, a classic pub menu, a modern pub/mexican menu and a bustling Italian wine bar and trattoria. We’re looking for an experienced Cook or Chef to join our team and help deliver great food to our locals and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and specifications
• Ensure dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner
• Monitor food stock levels and notify management when supplies are low
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy and speed of service
• Monitor quality and consistency of dishes leaving the kitchen
• Work closely with Managers on food preparation and operational issues
• Enforce hygiene regulations and kitchen standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a restaurant Cook or Chef
• Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and Australian food safety regulations
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen under pressure
• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
