About the role
Commencing 6 October 2026 until 12 February 2027
St John's Anglican College is seeking a friendly, organised and customer-focused Uniform Shop Assistant to join our team on a casual basis during one of our busiest periods. This role is ideal for someone looking for work-life balance while contributing to a welcoming and professional school environment.
Working within our Uniform Shop, you will assist students, families and staff with uniform fittings, sales and general day-to-day operations.
About You
The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience in a hospitality, retail sales or school uniform shop environment and demonstrate:
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Confidence using computer systems and point-of-sale software
A positive and collaborative approach to work
Reliability and flexibility during peak trading periods
Physical Requirements
This role involves:
Standing and walking for a large portion of each shift
Receiving and unpacking stock deliveries
Actively rotating stock
Moving and handling cartons of stock safely
