Lawyer, Investigations and Litigation - The ACT Law Society

The ACT Law Society is the peak professional body for solicitors in the ACT, representing the local legal profession while also performing a regulatory and public protection role within the close-knit Canberra market. 

As part of the expansions of the Investigations and Litigations team, the ACT Law Society is seeking to hire a talented Lawyer level candidate, ideally with a minimum 1 - 3 years PQE.

You'll join a function has been largely external until relatively recently and runs as an in-house practice. We are looking for a candidate who can work with intelligent peers and bring a sense of assurance to this role. The team runs at a relatively fast pace, although deeply values individual needs and practices work life balance.

A background in litigation, ideally within the areas of criminal, employment, regulatory or administrative law would be valued, although these are not firm pre-requisites. Excellent judgement and a desire to see all of your varied matters handled with professionalism is key.
