Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the preschool room in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
• Plan, implement, and evaluate an engaging curriculum in line with the EYLF and NQF
• Mentor and support a team of educators within the room, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture
• Build strong, genuine relationships with children, families, and the wider community
• Maintain accurate documentation, observations, and planning cycles
• Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
• Work closely with the 2IC, Educational Leader and Centre Director to support the centre's overall goals and quality improvement plan

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECT qualified)
• Current NSW Working With Children Check
• Proven experience as a Room Leader or in a similar leadership role within a preschool setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for early years education and creating a safe, nurturing environment
