About the role
Join Wyndham City's Placemaking and Activations team within the Arts, Events and Cultural Venues Department, where you'll help shape vibrant, welcoming places that people are proud to visit, spend time in and call their own.
As a Placemaking Officer, you'll be the dedicated champion for a portfolio of Wyndham's activity centres. You'll develop a deep understanding of each place, building strong relationships with traders, businesses, landowners, community groups and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve local challenges and support each centre to thrive.
Working collaboratively across Council and with local partners, you'll lead place-based initiatives that strengthen local identity, encourage visitation, support local businesses and enhance public spaces. From identifying opportunities for improvement to coordinating projects and fostering partnerships, you'll play an important role in delivering Council's Placemaking Framework and shaping the future of Wyndham's activity centres.
