Marina Realty is seeking a dedicated and experienced Caretaking Building & Property Couple to oversee the maintenance, cleaning and gardening of several residential properties and manage the day-to-day operations.

About the Role

Marina Realty values people first. As a Caretaking Couple you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of buildings and properties at Mackay Marina. The skills and talents you bring will play a critical role in maintaining high standards and maximising performance.

Please note this is not a live onsite role.

What Your Days Might Look Like

• This position oversees 9 residential buildings as a Caretaker and several units as Property Manager

• Keeping track of maintenance issues, building repairs, incidents, by-law breaches, equipment, safety and requests for work

• Daily property walks to fast-track attention to Body Corporate or action as required

• Keeping track of contractors and tracking results

• Maintaining records, submitting quotes, processing invoices, liaising with third-party service providers and Strata Managers

• Monitor by-laws, compliance, and monitor legislation changes

• Prepare monthly reports for Body Corporate and attend meetings as required

• Manage tenant and landlord relationship, including tenant selection, invoicing, inspections and financial reporting

• Ensure all common areas are always clean and tidy to a high standard, and facilities are in working order

What You’ll Bring

• 3 years + property and Strata experience

• Good working knowledge of Body Corporates

• MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills

• Experience preferred with Console property management system

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment

• Team players

• Be able to instruct, monitor and lead a small team

• Real estate licence required
