Job Description

You will be a hands-on experienced Crushing/Recycling Supervisor, ideally with a background in earthmoving and quarrying. Day to days will include, but not limited to: -

• General daily running of our Laverton site

• Site Supervision, leading a team of operators, labourers & sub-contractors

• Daily and weekly planning in regards to materials/products

• Coordinating pre-starts

• Manage daily operations by coaching and rotating staff to build an inclusive, multi-skilled crew.

• Planning in relation to daily/weekly operations, training & resources

• Maintenance of machinery/plant and equipment (basic knowledge)

Profile

You will be a person that has a great energy to start the day with drive and ambition; a hands-on person who is willing to just get in and get the job done! A good lateral thinker and communicator that enjoys working to targets and achieving set goals. You will have excellent leadership and people management skills; with the ability to self-motivate and self-mange.

Skill Set

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the recycling/quarry/mining industries (or similar)

• Hands on Crushing experience (Supervisory)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Sound supervision and people management skills 

• A good understanding of plant and machinery
