THAKURS WORLD PTY LTD About the Role Thakur Ji Hair Salon is looking for a skilled and passionate Hairdresser to join our professional team. This role suits someone with experience in cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatments, with a strong focus on customer service and quality workmanship in a busy salon environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Consult with clients on suitable hairstyles, hair care routines, colour options and beauty treatments based on face shape, hair type and client preferences.   Perform a range of men’s and women’s haircutting services including classic cuts, fades, tapering, layers, texture cuts, fringe trims and children’s haircuts.   Provide beard grooming services including beard trimming, shaping and clean shaving services.

  Shampoo, condition and treat hair and scalp, including deep conditioning, scalp care, detox treatments and hair spa services.   Carry out hair colouring services including root touch-ups, global colour applications, highlights, toners and colour maintenance treatments.   Perform chemical treatments including keratin smoothing, Brazilian blowouts, permanent straightening and other hair smoothing services.

  Style hair using blow drying, round-brush techniques, curls, updos and special event or bridal hairstyling services.   Apply hair extension services, including assisting with extension fitting, blending and styling where required.   Recommend and provide premium hair treatments and maintenance advice to support clients’ ongoing hair health.

  Maintain salon cleanliness by sanitising tools and equipment, cleaning workstations and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.   Manage client appointments, provide customer service, process payments and support smooth day-to-day salon operations.   Skills and Experience Required Relevant qualification in Hairdressing or equivalent industry experience.

  Minimum 1 -3year relevant experience preferred.   Experience in cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatment services.   Strong customer service and communication skills.
