How does this apply?

We’re looking for a Senior Campaign Strategist who brings Relentless Curiosity to their work through creative and strategic thinking, with strong Australian media knowledge and a track record of delivering successful campaigns.

Located in Sydney this role sits within CREATE’s Campaign Strategy team, a primarily revenue generating function turning client briefs into actionable, insight-driven strategic campaigns that deliver on business goals.

This role brings Unwavering Unity to life through the hunger to inspire others and push boundaries with what is possible in the realm of audio, and the ability to autonomously lead strategic responses to briefs all whilst balancing both the commercial and programming priorities of our business.

In practice this looks like

• Bridge creative thinking and commercial strategy by partnering closely with sales to meet client objectives and drive results
• Lead the path from brief to pitch, effectively managing time and stakeholders
• Own the strategic partnership build for key clients and agencies with long term partnerships across Nova, acting as the go-to expert on their brand and the first point of contact for sales when identifying and developing new opportunities
• Collaborate with every area of the business, mobilising product specialists to build multi-platform brand campaigns
• Develop strategically sound, compelling pitch documents, for client presentation
• Ensure campaign feasibility across costings, lead times and technical requirements
• Lead and/or contribute to team reporting of workflow and output
• Stay abreast of industry trends, innovation and technologies to inform solutions
• Present to clients in collaboration with sales colleagues

• Effectively interpret briefs to design compelling and engaging client campaigns
• Facilitate and participate in brainstorms to generate unique ideas

• Support and guide Strategists and Specialists for commercial briefs
• Onboard new strategists, including training, introductions and check in’s

Skills that help you succeed in this role:

• 4+ years strategist experience with a media publisher (preferred) or agency
• Ability to lead complex briefs and projects autonomously at a high level
• An absolute pro at PowerPoint in visual and written storytelling
• The proven ability to work with stakeholders at varying levels within the business
• The ability to show critical thinking from both an operational and creative lens 
• A curious and innovative mind that sees solutions not problems
• Highly adaptable, flexible & resilient to shifting priorities & timelines 
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including creative concept development
