Policy Officer

As the ACT's peak body for the alcohol, tobacco and other drug sector, ATODA is committed to advancing a healthy, equitable community through advocacy, policy development, and support for high-quality treatment and harm reduction services. Reporting to the Policy and Research Manager, you will develop policy advice, submissions, briefings and advocacy initiatives, working closely with sector leaders, community stakeholders and government to influence meaningful change.

This role is ideal for a strong policy professional who can analyse complex issues, translate evidence into clear recommendations, build effective stakeholder relationships, and contribute to a values-driven organisation committed to health equity, inclusion, reconciliation and excellence. Experience in the AOD sector is highly regarded but not essential.
