Forklift Operator (Casual)

EGR is one of Queensland’s largest manufacturing operations, with our headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Brisbane. With approximately 600 employees, EGR is a market leader in design and manufacturing, supplying products to both Australian and international automotive markets.

We are currently seeking an experienced Casual Forklift Operator to join our busy Logistics team within one of Australia’s leading manufacturing organisations.

About the Role

• Casual position

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm

• Receiving and dispatch duties

• Picking and packing orders

• Stocktaking and inventory tasks

• Working within a fast-paced logistics and distribution warehouse

• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift

• Loading and unloading containers using a forklift

• Working collaboratively within a hands-on team environment

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Availability to work 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

• A current Forklift Licence with a minimum of 12 months’ forklift operating experience

• Previous experience within a logistics, warehousing or distribution environment

• Full Australian working rights

• A good level of physical fitness and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the role

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing

• A strong work ethic, reliability and good communication skills
