Internal Sales Representative - Industrial Products

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer focused person to join our growing team.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be a key point of contact for our customers, providing great service, responding to enquiries, preparing quotes and processing orders, as well as picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.

With the busy harvest season approaching, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have some agricultural, farming or rural industry experience. An understanding of this sector would be a real advantage as we continue to support our existing customers and look for opportunities to grow our business within the agricultural market.

You don't need to be an agricultural expert, we're looking for someone with a strong customer focus, a practical approach and the ability to build good relationships with customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing friendly, responsive customer service via phone, email and in person.
• Responding to customer enquiries and helping them find the right products and solutions.
• Preparing quotations and following up customer enquiries and opportunities.
• Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
• Receiving and putting away incoming stock.
• Maintaining accurate customer, order and product information within our systems.
• Helping ensure the day-to-day operation of the branch runs smoothly.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys dealing with customers, is willing to get involved and takes pride in providing great service.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service, Parts, Trade Counter or a similar role.
• Some experience or knowledge of agriculture, farming, agricultural machinery or the rural sector would be highly regarded.
• A genuine interest in building customer relationships and helping grow the business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability and willingness to undertake hands-on duties including picking, packing and dispatching orders.
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new products.
• Experience with bearings, power transmission, hydraulics or other industrial products would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude – someone who is customer focused, willing to learn and happy to pitch in wherever needed.
