About the role

Furlissimo Dog Grooming is seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team on a casual basis (potential for FT work for the right team member). Based in Alfred Cove, WA, this role is perfect for someone who loves working with dogs and takes pride in delivering exceptional grooming services. As a Dog Groomer, you will play a vital part in ensuring our clients look their best whilst maintaining high standards of animal welfare and care.

Key responsibilities

• Bathe, dry and groom dogs according to breed standards and client specifications

• Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning and other routine grooming procedures with precision and care

• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic grooming environment at all times

• Handle dogs with patience, compassion and professionalism to ensure their comfort and safety

• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with dog owners

• Work collaboratively with the Furlissimo team to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

• 1+ years professional dog grooming experience (essential)

• Strong clipper and scissor skills with solid breed/coat knowledge

• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

• Reliable, punctual, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision

• Strong communication skills and a genuine team mindset

• Calm, patient temperament and genuine love for working with animals

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in pet grooming or animal care (preferred)

• Current knowledge of health and safety practices in animal care settings
