Panel Shop Manager | Audi Alto Artarmon

Alto Body Shop is seeking an experienced and driven Panel Shop Manager to lead our state-of-the-art repair centre located at Audi Alto Artarmon on Sydney's North Shore.

As an OEM-approved repairer for Audi, Volkswagen, CUPRA, Škoda, Jaguar, Land Rover and Genesis, we pride ourselves on delivering manufacturer-compliant repairs, outstanding customer service, and industry-leading workmanship.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate collision repair professional to take ownership of a high-performing workshop within the respected Alto Group.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the panel shop, ensuring operational excellence, productivity, quality standards, and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all workshop operations, workflow and production schedules

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of panel beaters, painters, estimators and support staff

• Ensuring repairs are completed in accordance with OEM repair methods and manufacturer standards

• Driving productivity, efficiency and workshop performance

• Monitoring work quality and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction outcomes

• Building strong relationships with insurers, assessors, manufacturers and internal stakeholders

• Managing workshop KPIs, budgets and profitability targets

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and industry best practices

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience in a Panel Shop Manager, Production Manager or Senior Workshop Management role

• Strong collision repair industry knowledge and technical expertise

• Experience working within OEM-approved repair environments

• Excellent leadership and people management skills

• Solid understanding of estimating, workshop systems and repair processes

• Proven ability to manage workflow, productivity and profitability

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• A commitment to quality workmanship and customer service excellence

• Current driver's licence
