The Centre Services team supports the effective operation, development and expansion of headspace services across Australia. We work closely with Primary Health Networks (PHNs), Lead Agencies and headspace Centres to support the delivery of high-quality, accessible and responsive services for young people and communities.

what you'll do

In a team of National Centre Services Advisor's, you will support the establishment of new headspace centres and services, strengthen implementation of the headspace model, and participate in headspace Model Integrity Framework (hMIF) assessments across an assigned portfolio of services.

Working in this role, you will:

• Work closely with PHNs, Lead Agencies and headspace staff to support the establishment and implementation of new headspace centres and services.
• Work closely with PHNs, Lead Agencies and headspace staff in the relocation and refurbishment of headspace centres and services.
• Provide advice, guidance, resources and support to services to support alignment with the headspace model.
• Undertake hMIF assessments including evidence reviews, stakeholder interviews, evaluation activities and reporting.
• Support services in the hMIF improvement phase.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of education, training and capacity-building activities across the headspace network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Centre Managers, PHNs, Lead Agencies and internal stakeholders.

This role is offered as a full-time opportunity until 30 June 2028.

You'll be an experienced health, mental health or community services professional with a strong understanding of service quality, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. You'll enjoy working collaboratively, building trusted relationships and supporting services to achieve positive outcomes for young people.

To be successful in this role, you will also bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in a health management, mental health or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working within the health, mental health or community services sector.
• Knowledge of service quality frameworks, accreditation, model fidelity, performance measurement or assessment processes.
• Experience supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives and organisational change.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess information and develop clear reports and recommendations.
• Excellent project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
