Bay of Isles Dental Clinic is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist / Dental Hygienist to join our team in Esperance, Western Australia.

This is a full-time position where you'll have the opportunity to do what you love — provide great patient care, promote better oral health and become part of a supportive dental team.

About the Role

You'll be an important part of our clinical team, working alongside our dentists and support staff to provide excellent preventative and periodontal care.

You'll have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with patients and make a real difference to their long-term oral health.

Your day may include:

• Comprehensive oral health assessments

• Professional cleans, scaling and periodontal treatment

• Taking intraoral and extraoral radiographs within your scope of practice

• Fluoride applications, fissure sealants and other preventative treatments

• Educating patients about oral hygiene and helping them develop better habits

• Working with our dentists to develop individual treatment plans

• Maintaining accurate clinical records

• Following high standards of infection control and sterilisation

• Most importantly, helping patients feel relaxed, comfortable and well looked after

Who Are We Looking For?

We're not just looking for qualifications. We're looking for someone who enjoys people and genuinely cares about their patients.

You'll ideally be:

• Registered with the Dental Board of Australia as an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist

• Appropriately qualified from an accredited institution

• Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with patients

• Passionate about preventative dentistry and oral health education

• Comfortable working independently while still enjoying being part of a team

• Professional, reliable and organised

• Committed to excellent infection control and clinical standards

• Keen to continue learning and developing professionally

Experience in general or community dentistry is great, but we're also interested in hearing from clinicians who are earlier in their careers and looking for the right practice to grow with.
