Team members join a professional environment that values safety, clear communication, and continuous improvement.Role Description The Building Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Melbourne Area. This position oversees day-to-day construction activities on home extension and renovation sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating trades and subcontractors, monitoring progress against schedules, inspecting work for compliance with building codes, and addressing site issues promptly. The Building Supervisor will manage site documentation, support client and stakeholder communication, and promote a culture of safety and professionalism across all projects.QualificationsDemonstrated supervisory skills, including leading onsite teams and coordinating trades.Relevant technical skills such as carpentry and knowledge of residential construction methods.Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Sound understanding of Australian building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Proven organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced site environment.Previous experience as a site supervisor or equivalent role in residential construction.Trade qualification or relevant certification in building, carpentry, or construction management is desirable.Current driver’s license and the ability to travel between sites within the Greater Melbourne Area.
