Part-Time Practice Nurse

About the role

Tulla Health Hub is seeking a Practice Nurse for a well-established busy Medical Centre in Tullamarine. You will work in a team environment providing patient-centered care and performing a range of general practice clinic duties.

• Division 1 or 2 Nurse

• Part-Time + Flexibility

• Previous experience as a GP Practice Nurse preferable

• Friendly and Professional attitude

• Work in a team environment & be patient-centered with good verbal communication skills

• Have good computer skills

• Able to perform General Practice Clinic duties including administering Vaccinations

Duties will include:

• Care Plans, Health Assessments

• Assisting in minor procedures

• Do wound dressings

• Immunisations (kids, travel, flu, etc)

• Stock ordering & maintaining treatment room supplies

• ECG, Audiometry & Spirometry (hands-on training will be provided)

• Be involved in care of any emergencies as they present.

• Sterilisation of equipment (training will be provided).

• Providing health education to patients.

• Patient Recalls

• Health Kids checks

• Employment medicals

• Other duties
