About the company:Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Asset Manager to maximise the technical performance, reliability and availability of a portfolio of utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) assets across Australia.
About the Role:This role is ideal for someone passionate about renewable energy who enjoys combining technical expertise, performance analytics and stakeholder management to optimise asset performance throughout the operational lifecycle.
Responsibilities: - Monitor plant performance using SCADA, AEMO and operational data.
- Analyse generation performance, availability, Performance Ratio (PR) and asset KPIs.
- Lead incident investigations and technical root cause analysis.
- Manage O&M contractors, maintenance programs and technical service delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and technical audits.
- Coordinate warranty management, defect resolution and EPC obligations.
- Monitor compliance with National Electricity Rules (NER), safety requirements and environmental obligations.
- Prepare technical reports and performance recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience: - Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- Experience in technical asset management within utility-scale solar, BESS or renewable energy.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, inverter technology, plant performance analytics and O&M contracts.
- Understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM) and AEMO operations is highly regarded.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience using Excel, Power BI and data visualisation tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
