Crane Mechanic

McKay United is seeking an experienced Crane Mechanic to join our team, working from our Laverton yard.

The successful applicant will have hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing Grove all-terrain cranes and Terex Franna cranes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing and preventative maintenance

• Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults

• Completing repairs and breakdown support

• Conducting crane inspections

• Maintaining accurate service records

• Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements

To be successful, you will have:

• A recognised heavy vehicle, diesel mechanic or relevant trade qualification

• Proven experience working on Grove all-terrain and Terex Franna cranes

• Strong hydraulic, electrical and diagnostic skills

• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A current heavy vehicle licence
