South Steyne Medical Centre opened in May 2021, following a major refurbishment of the site by its new owners. Qualifications & experience
Current RN AHPRA registration.
Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
Previous care plan/health assessment experience desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise
Working With Children Check Clearance.
Evidence of vaccination/immunity history
Tasks & responsibilities
Triaging our patients and prioritising emergency situations.
Providing Covid-19 vaccination to our patients.
Assisting GP with procedures including excision of lesions, plastering and assessments.
Wound dressings and removal of sutures.
Performing ECGs and other tests such as spirometry and audiograms.
Immunisations
Health assessments. Preparation and review of care plans. Assisting the GP with the management of the annual diabetes and asthma cycles of care.
Health coaching to support patients with achievement of their health goals.
Effective management of patient reminder systems.
Coordination, management and maintenance of patient clinical data.
Monitoring and reporting on stock levels within the Treatment Room.
