About the role
This is a busy and fast-paced administration position requiring excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the day. As part of our front-line administration team, you will support our specialist doctors, allied health professionals, patients and families.
Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients and families in a friendly and professional manner
Managing appointments and complex clinical diaries
Answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls
Responding to email enquiries
Typing correspondence
Accurately maintaining patient records
Processing billing, payments and Medicare rebates
Providing administrative support to specialist doctors and allied health clinicians
Delivering excellent customer service within a caring healthcare environment
Assisting the team with daily clinic operations
About you
Highly organised, dependable and punctual
Friendly, professional and well-presented
A confident and effective communicator
Able to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Accurate and attentive when completing documentation
A positive and supportive team member
Calm and professional under pressure
Willing to learn, take initiative and accept feedback
