Dining Experience Supervisor - Permanent Part Time .80 EFT

Make Every Meal an Experience That Matters.

A great dining experience is about more than the meal on the plate. We are looking for a Dining Experience Supervisor to lead our pantry and meal-service team and ensure residents and patients receive safe, accurate and person-centred food and dining services that reflect their individual needs, preferences and choices.

This is a new role with a strong focus on the experience of our residents and patients. You will provide day-to-day leadership to the pantry and dining-service team, ensuring meals are delivered safely, accurately and in a way that promotes dignity, choice, independence and enjoyment.

Essential

• Relevant qualification and/or demonstrated experience in food services, hospitality, aged care, health services or a comparable service environment.
• Current Food Handling Certificate.
•  Appropriate Food Safety Supervisor qualification, or willingness and ability to obtain this qualification.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and developing staff, including workforce allocation, rostering, coaching and performance support.
•  Demonstrated knowledge of food safety, allergen management, special diets and texture-modified food and fluids.
• Demonstrated commitment to person-centred service and improving the food and dining experience of older people and/or health service consumers.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with residents, patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to use electronic systems accurately and maintain high-quality records.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and workplace safety.
• Desirable
• Experience in residential aged care, health services or institutional food services.
• Experience using Simple Foods or a comparable menu and food-service management system.
• Experience working collaboratively with Dietitians, nursing and clinical teams.
• Experience in consumer engagement, hospitality or dining-service improvement.
• Experience participating in accreditation, regulatory or food-safety audits.
• First Aid Certificate.

Employment conditions and remuneration are as prescribed in the relevant award (dependent upon qualification) and current Enterprise Agreement.
