Recruitment Resourcer & Administrator

Elphinstone Mechanical Services (EMS), proudly part of the SSH Group, is looking for a Recruitment Resourcer & Administrator to join our team in Belmont.

Working closely with our Recruitment team, you'll provide support across the recruitment process, helping to source candidates, complete initial screening and coordinate onboarding requirements for new employees.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working with people. You'll play an important role in keeping the recruitment process moving and ensuring candidates have a smooth experience from initial contact through to starting with EMS.

In this role, you will:

• Source and identify suitable candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn and internal databases.
• Complete initial candidate screening and phone calls.
• Review applications and shortlist candidates against role requirements.
• Contact candidates to discuss current and upcoming opportunities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity in JobAdder.
• Assist with interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Support reference checks and pre-employment requirements.
• Assist with candidate onboarding, including documentation, medicals, LABDAS and inductions.
• Follow up outstanding candidate requirements to keep the recruitment process moving.
• Provide general recruitment and administrative support to the wider team.

About you:

• Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, administration or customer service is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with candidates over the phone.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.
• Proactive and willing to pick up the phone and follow things through.
• Confident using computers and learning new systems.
• A positive, team-focused approach and willingness to learn.

Experience with JobAdder, SEEK or similar recruitment systems will be highly regarded, but full training will be provided for the right person.
