Fencing Sales Estimator

We are looking for an energetic, charismatic Fencing Estimator or sales person with a natural ability to liaise with a diverse range of clients, strengthen existing relationships and create new ones while working on some of NSW’s and Sydney's biggest and most influential Projects. 

Our ideal candidate brings a strong background in fencing, landscaping, or construction—or possesses solid business knowledge related to fence building and installation. You’ll be someone who thrives on delivering high-quality service and takes pride in getting the details right.

We value our reputation, repeat referrals from both our Residential & Commercial clients. The successful applicant would have to be able to liaise effectively with a broad range of clients to strengthen existing relationships and help create new ones.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Scoping, measuring and pricing job leads from the site and office

• Preparing and issuing quotations for domestic, rural and commercial clients 

• Completing tenders from inception, submission through to purchase order stage

• Converting leads into completed sales

• Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders

• Researching current trends and setting pricing accordingly to maximize profitability 

• Using external marketing systems to source new clientele and tenders 

• Completing drawings for client submissions using systems such as Autocad and Sketch Up

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years estimation sales experience - Preferably in Construction 

• Demonstrated Fencing experience - Essential

• Demonstrated measurement experience - Particularly with rakes and angles 

• Proven negotiation skills and ability to close sales

• Ability to read plans and complete tender processes essential

• Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• General computer literacy 

• Knowledge in glass, balustrading and specialty works - Advantageous

• Experience using drawing tools – Advantageous

• Drivers License Essential
