Waterproofing Integrity
About the role
Construction contracts | Commercial focus | Growing specialist consultancy
Are you a confident Contracts Administrator who likes taking ownership, managing multiple priorities and getting things across the line?
We’re looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join Waterproofing Integrity, an independent waterproofing consultancy and advisory group.
This is not a traditional builder-side CA role focused on subcontractor progress claims, procurement and site delivery.
Our CA function is heavily front-end focused. You’ll review contracts issued to us by clients, identify commercial and contractual risks, manage departures against our Terms & Conditions, ensure our proposal and contracted scope align, and drive agreements through to execution.
As our business continues to grow, so does the volume and complexity of our contracts.
What you'll ownYou’ll take responsibility for managing multiple contracts at different stages while keeping stakeholders informed and actions moving.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing client contracts against our proposals, Terms & Conditions and commercial requirements
Preparing, issuing and managing contractual departures
Identifying commercial risk and escalating material issues appropriately
Ensuring Proposal Scope = Contract Scope
Reviewing payment terms, claim requirements, indemnities, liability provisions, insurances, delay damages and other key contractual conditions
Identifying progress claim dates, supporting documentation and client portal requirements at contract stage
Coordinating with our internal teams so contractual obligations and expectations are understood
Following up clients and stakeholders to keep contracts progressing
Maintaining accurate contract records, registers and documentation
Managing competing priorities without losing sight of deadlines or detail
Driving contracts through to agreement and execution
You’re confident enough to ask the question, challenge something that doesn't look right and have a professional commercial conversation when expectations aren't aligned.
You don't need someone standing over you to tell you what comes next.
You take ownership. You follow through.
And you understand that a good commercial relationship depends on mutual expectations being clear, understood and met.
You'll be someone who:
Has contract administration experience within the construction industry
Understands construction contracts, commercial terms and progress claim processes
Is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
Communicates confidently and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
Can identify risk without becoming unnecessarily risk-averse
Knows when to challenge, when to clarify and when to escalate
Is comfortable working independently and making sound commercial judgements
Is driven by outcomes rather than simply completing tasks
Takes accountability for commitments and follows things through to completion
Values accuracy, consistency and doing what you said you would do
Experience working for a builder may be useful, but builder-side experience isn't essential.
We're particularly interested in people who have worked with construction contracts within consultancies, engineering businesses, specialist contractors/subcontractors or other professional construction environments.
How we workWaterproofing Integrity was established to provide truly independent waterproofing advice. Our independence matters, and so does the way we work with each other and our clients.
As we grow, we're deliberate about maintaining a culture where people are trusted to use their judgement, take ownership of the outcome.
Why join Waterproofing Integrity? You'll be joining a specialist consultancy at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to take genuine ownership of an important commercial function.
This role will suit someone who enjoys structure but isn't rigid, has confidence without ego, and can keep a lot of moving pieces under control while remaining focused on the outcome.
If you enjoy the commercial and contractual side of construction, like bringing order and clarity to complexity, and get satisfaction from seeing agreements properly negotiated, aligned and executed, we'd like to hear from you.
