PowAGroup at Revesby in south western Sydney, is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join the team. Established in 2004 and wholly Australian owned and operated, PowAGroup is a wholesaler and manufacturer serving the plumbing, mechanical and electrical trades, with a specialisation in passive fire and seismic solutions for commercial and high-rise work. Position: Office Manager Location: Revesby, NSW Key Responsibilities

• Take day to day ownership of the Revesby office, keeping administrative systems, workflows and service standards running consistently across order processing, customer accounts and dispatch paperwork.
• Set weekly priorities for the administration team, review how the office is performing against them, and recommend changes where a process is holding the branch up.
• Allocate work across the office each day, balancing workloads through peak dispatch periods and monitoring output so quotes, orders and trade enquiries are turned around within agreed timeframes.
• Supervise administration and customer service staff, providing direction, coaching and feedback, and raising performance matters with management where they need attention.
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for office roles, from setting the position requirements and interviewing through to induction, system access and training on the branch's ordering and stock systems.
• Manage payroll inputs for the site, including timesheets, leave, overtime and entitlements, and work with the accounts team so every pay run is accurate and on time.
• Maintain the office's records and accounts, covering purchase orders, supplier invoices, trade account applications, customer files, delivery documentation and reconciliations, so that everything is current and easy to retrieve.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable administration for the branch, following up outstanding trade accounts and resolving pricing, freight and invoicing queries with customers and suppliers.
• Plan the use of office space, workstations, equipment and consumables, and order what the team needs so resources keep pace with the branch's workload.
• Act as the link between the office and the wider business, liaising with warehousing, sales, purchasing and accounts, and with suppliers, freight carriers and trade customers, to settle problems before they reach the customer.
• Work with external professionals including the company's accountants, insurers, IT providers and engineering consultants on matters affecting the branch's administration and compliance records.
• Look after the premises, arranging maintenance, cleaning, security and repairs for the office and its equipment, and managing service contracts so nothing is left to fail at the wrong moment.
• Keep the site's work health and safety obligations on track by maintaining safety documentation and registers, coordinating inductions and toolbox meetings, and logging and following up hazards and incidents across the office and warehouse interface.
• Ensure administrative practice complies with the relevant legislation and with company policy and procedure, covering employment records, the handling of customer information and the product compliance documentation issued with fire rated and seismic product lines.
• Maintain document control for the branch so that technical data sheets, test reports, certificates and installation guides supplied to customers are always the current versions.
• Prepare regular reporting for management on order turnaround, account status, office throughput and staffing, and contribute to planning for busy periods and new product introductions.
• Drive continuous improvement across the administration function by reviewing procedures, updating written work instructions and training the team as systems and product ranges change.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in office management or senior administration, ideally gained in a trade supply, wholesale, construction or building services environment.
• An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in business, business administration, management or a related discipline.

Hours and Salary Hours: 38 hours per week - Full-time, permanent position Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation per annum Personal Attributes We are looking for someone who is:
